Shihan Yocham has performed well at tournaments in the United States , japan , Dominic Republic , Panama , Ontario , and  British Columbia . Highlights include:

  • Shoreikai Tournament ,Tokyo , 2013 : 2nd  Place kata , men's black belt division

  • Shoreikai Tournament ,Tokyo , 2010 : 1st  Place sparring , 3rd Place kata ,men's blackbelt division

  • WFMA Canadian National Championships , 2007 :  Only competitor to win 1st in kata , 1st in Weapons  and 1st in sparring .

  • International Goodwill Games ,Panama , 2005 : part of U.S.A. team , placed in three events and awarded INternational Goodwill Ambassador Medal of Merit .
