Okinawan karate refers to the martial arts which originated among the indienous people of the Okinawa Island.
Due to it's central location,Okinawa was influenced by various cultures including Japan,China,and Southeast Asia, that greatly influnced the devopment of martial arts on Okinawa.
Okinawan karate includes,but is not limited to,GOJU RYU,Shorin Ryu,Uechi Ryu and Chito Ryu.
